This is an online yoga and mindfulness programme for the self-identifying men of Queen’s.
With six weeks of classes, each class is 60 minutes long, and designed to offer guys a chance to learn how to stretch and relax in a safe and non-competitive space.
This a wonderful introduction to yoga and meditation and all of its amazing benefits. These classes will be extremely informative, offering a chance to align the body and decompress the mind.
Continued study and work in front of the computer are just some of the things that can cause restriction, stress, and tension in the body. This course will unravel restricted mobility, lengthen & strengthen muscles, help dissolve stress patterns, and increase your stamina.
As well as a movement practice, the course will emphasise the importance of slowing down and learning to listen through breath-work and meditation: A great tool in these challenging times.
You can practice these all-levels classes with our instructor, Mark, LIVE every Wednesday evening at 5:00pm, or enjoy each recording for 3 days after.
Each class will have a specific theme designed to target the tighter areas of our bodies through mobility and yoga postures.
We commence on Wednesday 21 April, continuing through the next five weeks:
- Week 1: Wednesday 21 April – 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Week 2: Wednesday 28 April – 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Week 3: Wednesday 5 May – 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Week 4: Wednesday 12 May – 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Week 5: Wednesday 19 May – 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Week 6: Wednesday 26 May – 5:00pm-6:00pm
