LinkedIn is an invaluable online tool for you to network with professionals and alumni. This workshop is aimed at students who don’t yet have a LinkedIn profile, or it requires updating. As well as looking at how to complete your profile, we will also look at job searching and how to use LinkedIn to connect with alumni.  You may find it useful to have your CV at hand as this will help you to start building your profile.

Meet the Consultant

This workshop will be led by Joan Connolly, Postgraduate Employability and Career Consultant at the Graduate School. Joan is a qualified Careers Adviser with over nineteen years of relevant experience in Higher Education. In her role in the Graduate School, Joan develops and implements employability programmes to enhance students' personal and professional development. Prior to joining Queen’s, Joan worked in human resource management in the private sector, specialising in recruitment and selection.
