The Irish Sound, Science and Technology Association (ISSTA) is delighted to partner with SARC at Queen’s University Belfast to present a two-day spatial audio workshop and concert programme in March 2023 for composers, sound artists and performers.

This concert will feature a series of new spatial audio mixes of international artists from the ISSTA network. These artists will participate in a collaboration between the ISSTA team and SARC co-ordinated by Dr John D'Arcy. Through this collaboration, the artists will be supported in their development of the use ambisonics and other immersive audio techniques to create new multichannel experiences specifically for the 40-speaker soundsystem of the Sonic Lab at SARC.
This concert follows the ISSTA Presents Spatial Audio Seminar on Wed 8th March which will discuss the techniques used in the concert.
