Mia Caielli is associate professor of “Comparative Public Law” at the Department of Law of the University of Turin, after serving as an assistant professor (2001-2015) and a research fellow (1997-2001).
She is a Faculty Member of the Center for Transnational Legal Studies (CTLS) – London, UK, where she taught Affirmative Action Law and Anti-Discrimination Law during the Fall Semester of a.a. 2015-16, member and past director of CIRSDe - Research Center for Women’s and Gender Studies of the University of Turin (2016-2019) and President of CUG UniTo - Guarantee Committee for Equal Opportunities, Employee Wellbeing and Non-Discrimination at Work (2021-ongoing).
She is currently teaching Constitutional Law; Comparative Constitutional Justice; Fundamental Rights in Latin America and Anti-Discrimination Law and her main research interests include constitutional justice, gender equality, hate speech law
