In a turbulent world where access to healthcare has never been more challenging, waiting lists the longest they have ever been, health inequalities widening and the scale of the burn-out among healthcare staff from the COVID-19 Pandemic becoming ever more visible, the need to renew our vision and to re-energise, has never been more pressing. We believe that General Practice and Primary Care have a key role to play in this renewal.

We believe passionately that by people coming together, sharing ideas and working together, we can help to improve the health of all communities.

Objectives   

The main objectives of this conference are to:    

1. Create a safe space for the presentation of scientific work from disciplines that inform the fields of general practice, primary care, and public health.   
2. Allow opportunities for the creation of collaborative links between academics and practitioners across Ireland and beyond.
