Diwali: Festival of Lights (Drop-in Event)

The Student Experience Team (One Elmwood) International Student Guides, together with colleagues in Staff Diversity and Inclusion, invite staff and students to join us on Monday, 28 October 2024 from 14:00 - 17:00 in One Elmwood foyer, 

as we prepare to celebrate the Festival of Lights.

Pop into One Elmwood during the afternoon and join in Diwali themed crafts, such as rangoli making, diya decorating, as well as enjoying some delicious traditional snacks from Namaste Belfast.

Traditional dress is encouraged for those who have this.

 Note: this One Elmwood event is a drop-in for staff and students, ahead of the main Diwali celebration the following evening, hosted by the South Asian Students' Society (SASS), on Tuesday 29 October (18:00 - 22:00) in the Whitla Hall. 

Tickets for the large Celebration event are available through the SASS (please email sass@qub.ac.uk for further details).  This promises to be a wonderful evening of performances.
