The School of Law will host a legal technology Venture Day on May 17^th in Riddel Hall, Stranmillis. The event aims to support Law Tech innovation in Northern Ireland and rounds off a successful year for the School's Law and Technology curriculum, ranging from an undergraduate elective to the LLM in Law and Technology, to the LINAS Doctoral Training Programme. 

The event, organised in partnership with the Law Schools Global League and IE Law School in Madrid, and sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills, will feature a networking lunch, a keynote by Simon Whittaker, from Vertical Structure; a startup competition and a panel discussion focused on legal technologies. It will also feature a pitch competition from legal technology startups. The winner will go on to compete at the South Summit in Madrid.
