PRISM invites staff and students to a free lunchtime talk to learn more about the Intersex community, with special guest speaker Sarah Haveron.
- Date(s)
- February 7, 2024
- Location
- Lanyon North, room 0G.074.
- Time
- 13:00 - 14:30
At this event Sarah, who was born Intersex in the 1950s, will be discussing her own lived experience as an Intersex person, including the important work she has done for the Intersex community through Intersex Ireland and Focus: Identity Trust NI. This is an important opportunity to hear from and learn more about an often underrepresented group within the LGBTQ+ community.

PRISM Membership
PRISM is the University's LGBTQ+ staff network, providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for LGBT+ staff in Queen's to regularly meet during working hours to discuss LGBTQ+ issues and work matters, in addition to planning social events both on and off campus.
PRISM is always keen to welcome new members, particularly those from marginalised groups within the queer community.
Attendance at PRISM meetings should be allowed as part of LGBTQ+ staff's working day, and should not affect standard office breaks, etc. If you have any difficulty attending meetings for this reason, please contact Co-Chairs Sally Bridge (s.bridge@qub.ac.uk) or Ben Crothers (b.crothers@qub.ac.uk). General enquiries can be sent to prism@qub.ac.uk.
Please note that whilst PRISM welcomes the support of their valued Allies network, PRISM membership is for LGBTQ+ staff members only.
