The Wellcome Trust - Wolfson NI Clinical Research Facility (NICRF), a joint venture with Queen's University, Ulster University, Public Health Agency, and Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, on the U Floor Belfast City Hospital is hosting two showcase events for anyone involved in clinical trials or clinical research. The NICRF is a facility dedicated to clinical research with a core team of managers, nurses, AHPs, medics and administrative staff in place to ensure that clinical research is set up and run effectively through to completion with the priority always being the safety and welfare of patients and healthy volunteers.
This is also a chance to find out more about one of Queen’s Innovation Centres, iREACH Health – a £64m integrated clinical research centre led by Queen’s in partnership with Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and HSC R&D, opening in 2027.

The NICRF Open Day will be held on:
- Monday 30th September, 9.30am – 12noon
- Wednesday 2nd October, 1.30pm – 4pm
(Refreshments will be provided)
Places are limited, therefore we plan to host additional sessions if we receive a high level of interest. Please choose only one day.
