Protecting Against Counterparty Insolvency: Understanding the Practical Effects of the UK's Corporate Insolvency Regime on Small Suppliers
A Free workshop organised in collaboration between Carson McDowell LLP and Queen's University Belfast School of Law
During the Pandemic, the UK Government introduced several reforms to existing insolvency laws. Some have the potential to become quite onerous for small businesses in particular, yet there is currently very little awareness or practical guidance available for the benefit of small business owners and directors. This engaging workshop event is designed to highlight the potential pitfalls for small businesses where a counterparty enters into an insolvency procedure, and to consider practical guidance that might help to mitigate against risks.
