Immerse yourself in Sounds of the Ravine, a family-friendly sound installation created by young musicians from JAM 4 the Junior Academy of Music at Queen’s University. Set within the lush surroundings of Belfast's Tropical Ravine, this unique soundscape weaves together natural and human-made sounds, reflecting the delicate balance between nature and urban life.
Inspired by the vibrant plant life and rhythms of the rainforest, the installation explores the challenges facing natural soundscapes in an increasingly urban world. As human noise encroaches on natural spaces, Sounds of the Ravine invites you to pause, listen, and reconnect with the sounds of nature — reimagined through the creativity of the next generation of musicians.
This event is presented in association with Belfast City Council.
