To mark Black History Month 2024, with the theme of 'Reclaiming Narratives', Queen's University's Racial Equity Champions (REC) Network is launching a book club with this inaugural event, looking at Toni Morrison's great novel.

Dr Brian Kelly of the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics will help set the historical context for the discussion. Dr Kelly is a labour historian with a special interest in race and class in the post-Civil War South.
