This online information session on 15 February 1pm, will give further details on the Spotlight on Life Science Tour taking place in May 2024.

The tour is for first year students in the Medicine, Health and Life Science Faculty (students registered for undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical, Biological and Pharmaceutical Sciences).  

On our two-day programme will be held after the summer exam period on 20 and 21 May.

Students who secure a place will have the opportunity to visit a number of our most innovative local scientific employers. Our intention is to help students on the tour to better understand the wealth of potential careers areas that exist within this dynamic area, those that are lab and non-lab based.

Students who complete the tour will also be able to apply for the Future-Ready Award. 

Applications for this Tour will open on 05 February and close on 15 March 2024.
