This session aims to provide participants with a practical 'toolkit' to support their wellbeing as they look forward to the academic year ahead. October 10th is World Mental Health Day and this workshop provides the perfect opportunity to prioritise yourself and your wellbeing.
The topics covered will include:
- Supporting your mind and body through small habits - sleep, nutrition, exercise, breathing, connecting, prioritising, etc.
- The importance of boundaries and self-care
- Incorporating movement and mindfulness into your day
- The concept of ‘imperfect action’
This workshop will be facilitated by Erin McElvogue. Erin is a Mindset & Wellness Consultant with multiple years’ experience within the sports, training and wellbeing spheres. Most recently Erin has developed the MYND movement to provide participants with the skills to prioritise their wellbeing.
The MYND workshop will be followed by some light refreshments and time for socialising. There will be movement and stretching during the workshop so please wear something you can comfortably move in and bring along an exercise mat or cushion if you can.
Spaces on this workshop are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. If the workshop is oversubscribed, participants will be added to a waitlist for future MYND events.
Please note – this session will be beneficial both as a stand-alone workshop or as a follow on if you attended the previous MYND workshop.
Spaces are limited so register today!
