Attend an online workshop with Conversation editor Laura Hood to learn more about The Conversation - news articles written by academics, edited by journalists.

This session will explain what The Conversation is, the benefits of writing and how to pitch an idea to their editorial team. There will be a chance to ask questions as well as discuss an idea of your own with the group.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your writing skills and maximise the coverage of your research or ideas.

This session will also address some issues raised by female academics, such as fear of your work being commented on and balancing commitments with finding the time to write.
