Queen’s University Belfast welcomed delegates from around the world for a special three day international conference to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday/Belfast Agreement from 17 – 19 April.

The conference recognised the achievements of those who negotiated and signed the 1998 Belfast/Good Friday Agreement (GFA); celebrated the role of women in peacebuilding; amplified the voice of the next generation of young leaders and aimed to create a dialogue towards social and economic solutions to the major issues that will impact the region over the next 25 years.

This three-day conference was hosted by Queen's University Belfast in partnership with the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils, the Council on Competitiveness, Women in Business, Politics in Action, Commission for Victims and Survivors, the Lyric Theatre, Historic Royal Palaces and Inspire’s Therapeutic and Wellbeing Services.
