Fulbright Scholar

Rachel Schlegel, a rising sophomore at Villanova University in Pennsylvania, will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience with a concentration in Biological Science. Schlegel is an Orientation Counselor, a member of the Faith and Learning Scholars, Rays of Sunshine, and is involved in undergraduate research.

Schlegel pursued the Conflict Transformation and Social Justice International Summer School Program of The Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace and Justice with the intent to study the effects of violence and cultural division on the human psyche; particularly the area of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. She will pursue medical school after graduation in 2019.
