The School of Law, Queen’s University Belfast in co-operation with the Irish Centre for European Law and the Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice are pleased to announce this Seminar on the legal dimensions of the Windsor Framework.
The Seminar will feature an impressive range of speakers who will address several of the most important legal issues arising in this new agreement, including:
- the Stormont Brake mechanism;
- the constitutional implications of the agreement;
- the impact on trade in goods;
- the role of the Joint Committee;
- State Aid;
- the roles of the Court of Justice of the European Union;
- and the impact on human rights and equality issues.
This seminar will be an opportunity for legal practitioners, academics, and policy makers to understand the legal implications of the Windsor Framework and its likely effects.
It will be chaired by Professor Christopher McCrudden.
