This event will bring together social psychologists, academics from other disciplines working on shared space, practitioners and policy specialists who share a common interest in linking theory and practice to promote effective policy in the UK. More specifically, the symposium will address the question: Can shared space promote intergroup reconciliation and respect?

The event is co-sponsored and co-organized by The Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice (Queen’s University Belfast), the Centre for Identity and Intergroup Relations (CIIR) in the School of Psychology, and SPSSI-UK.
