The Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice invites you to a Spring Conference on Dignity and Respect at Queen’s University Belfast on Wednesday/Thursday 15-16 May 2019.

Lord John Alderdice will deliver the keynote address on ‘Respect and Understanding – Civil Paths to Peace’ on 15 May and a distinguished panel of guests will discuss the theme from a variety of viewpoints on 16 May.

This event is jointly hosted by the Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice, the British Council NI, Belfast City Council and SGI-UK. It will bring specialists from Japan, Bonn, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and UK.
