The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Algorithmic Solutions (LINAS) Doctoral Training Programme is hosting an information session ahead of its deadline for applications on 31 January 2025.
The LINAS DTP offers PhD scholarships to researchers who are interested in the interdisciplinary study of AI’s social impact, or that of data mining and algorithmic decision-making more broadly.
Each PhD researcher will be assigned supervisors both from Computer Science, Maths & Physics, Cybersecurity and from Law, Politics and Sociology.
The programme focuses on two broad themes:
- Artificial Intelligence, Social Justice and Public Decision-Making
- Science, Governability and Society
