Call for Applications
The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Algorithmic Solutions (LINAS) Doctoral Training Programme is inviting a second round of applications to fill available projects.
The new deadline for applications is 30 April 2024.
Applicants should address their contribution to the programme aims in developing their application. Applicants are strongly advised to contact a potential supervisor to develop their ideas about how they would contribute to the proposed project and programme aims.

- The LINAS DTP offers PhD scholarships to researchers who are interested in the interdisciplinary study of AI’s social impact, or that of data mining and algorithmic decision-making more broadly
- Each PhD researcher will be assigned supervisors both from Computer Science, Maths & Physics, Cybersecurity and from Law, Politics and Sociology
- The programme focuses on two broad themes: “Artificial Intelligence, Social Justice and Public Decision-Making” and “Science, Governability and Society.” These themes are reflected in a range of projects, as outlined on the LINAS website
