A Lecture by Professor Karin Öberg, Professor of Astronomy at Harvard University, followed by a live Q&A session.

Karin Öberg is Professor of Astronomy at Harvard University and leader of the Öberg Astrochemistry Group at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
Her specialty is astrochemistry, and her research aims to uncover how chemical processes affect the outcome of planet formation, especially the chemical habitability of nascent planets. She is the recipient of a Sloan fellowship, a Packard fellowship, the Newton Lacy Pierce Prize in Astronomy, and a Simons fellowship. She also serves on the board of the Society of Catholic Scientists.
