Faith and Culture

Queen’s University Belfast strives to be a place where all staff and students feel safe and welcome, regardless of their identity or background, and where diverse perspectives, including those related to faith and culture, are respected.

With over 24,000 students from over 90 countries, our university is a vibrant community that celebrates diverse cultures and faiths. This multicultural environment enhances the learning experience and fosters a deep sense of community, making Queen’s University Belfast a wonderful place to study and grow.

The terms ‘faith’ ‘religion’ and ‘belief’ can mean different things to different people and people may relate to one but not the others. Many religious people do not practise all aspects of a religion or may interpret or practice certain aspects differently to others. ‘Belief’ also includes Humanism, atheism and other non-religious beliefs and philosophies.

If you don’t see a society you’re interested in, our Students' Union team would love to hear your ideas for starting a new one.
