A&O Shearman is the third largest integrated law firm in the world. The A&O Shearman Prize is awarded to the student who achieves the highest overall mark in the Company Law and Corporate Governance module.

Terms and Conditions

The A&O Shearman Prize will be awarded to the student who achieves the highest overall mark in the Company Law and Corporate Governance module. The student must have achieved a mark of 60 or higher in order to be eligible for this award.

In the event of a tie, the award can be split between a maximum of 4 students.

If there is a tie of more than 4 students, the award can be split between the two students with the highest overall mark in each Level from among those with the top mark in the Company Law and Corporate Governance module.

If no suitable candidate is identified, the prize may be awarded to the student who achieved the highest overall mark in another module, to be agreed with the Sponsor and the School of Law.
