Overview
This postgraduate scholarship has been established by Terence Kyle, former chief executive of Linklaters. Terence Kyle was educated at Christ's College, Cambridge University, graduating with an MA in Classics and Law in 1969. Prior to attending university, Terence went to school in Belfast and is a keen supporter of Queen's University Belfast in its efforts to provide increased opportunity for postgraduate study.

To be eligible for the Scholarship an applicant must:
- be a student from Northern Ireland; and
- have received an Offer of Study for the postgraduate LLM International Commercial and Business Law programme in the School of Law.
The award will be made on the basis of the application submitted and the highest overall final degree mark

£6250
The scholarship is valued at £6250 and will be payable upon confirmed enrolment in the LLM International Commercial and Business Law programme in the relevant academic year.

How to Apply
To be eligible for the Scholarship an applicant must:

Applicants for the Kyle Scholarship should also submit a written statement outlining, in not more than 750 words:
- why they want to undertake the LLM International Commercial and Business Law at Queen's and;
- what they hope to achieve through this opportunity and the impact they think this will have on their career and/or future ambitions.
This statement should be submitted to v.pavelkova@qub.ac.uk by the stipulated deadline.
The award will be made on the basis of the application submitted and the highest overall final degree mark.
