Overview
DAERA has published its call for applications for 2020/21 PhD studentships (i.e. autumn 2020 entry).
Research proposals must be prepared in consultation with a Queen's academic supervisor and aligned to one of DAERA's Postgraduate Research Needs.
The closing date for applications is midnight on Tuesday 25 February 2020.

Funding Amount
The personal maintenance grant payable to students in the 2020/21 academic year will be approx. £15,300 (TBC). This is set by RCUK and is subject to change each year.
Each year of the studentship at RTSG will be paid to the main Study Centre for all research students (excluding fees only awards) as a contribution towards incidental costs incurred in the training of research students, e.g. the provision of equipment or consumables and any fieldwork, study visits or travel costs incurred by the research student.
