Strategic Policy
Who we are
The Strategic Policy focus is on strengthening academic policymaker collaboration. This will be achieved with the establishment of the Centre for Public Policy and Administration to optimise the value of publicly funded research for maximum societal and economic gain, creating a focus on knowledge transfer.
What we do
The Centre will provide a formal structure for the extensive activity we already undertake in providing education, training and research in public policy and administration. It will bring focus to ensure connectivity, complementarity and co-ordination in developing further opportunities for collaboration with leading policy experts to provide ministers, the civil service and public services with high quality evidence and independent advice that helps them to improve policy decisions.
