Senate

Senate is the University’s governing body with responsibility for the ongoing strategic direction of the University, the management and administration of its revenue and property, and the general conduct of its affairs.

Senate profiles

Audit and Risk Committee

The Audit and Risk Committee operates under delegated authority of Senate providing stewardship of the internal and external audit process, overseeing risk management and ensuring regulatory compliance. 

Planning and Finance Committee

The Planning and Finance Committee operates under delegated authority from Senate in all matters pertaining to financial and physical resources.

People Committee

The People Committee operates under delegated authority from Senate in all matters pertaining to people, culture and values strategy.

Nominations and Governance Committee

The Nominations and Governance Committee operates under delegated authority from Senate for overseeing corporate governance arrangements to ensure that the University is pursuing good practice and monitoring governance effectiveness. 

University Management Board

The University Management Board (UMB) operates under delegated authority for Senate for the operational management of the University. All executive governance committees and structures report to the UMB.
