Set in a residential location, there are 50 three-storied accommodation blocks with 10-11 bedrooms with a shared common room and kitchen on each floor.
The village includes the Treehouse, which is the main social space for all students living with us and includes the coffee bar, snooker & pool tables, table tennis, TV lounge with 2 x 85 inch TV screens with BT Sports, games & karaoke room, 2 bookable kitchen spaces, outdoor BBQ area, computers and high-speed internet.

Elms BT9 is the ideal location for first year undergraduate students. The recently refurbished Treehouse is a great place to meet up with friends and socialise during the many events and activities held by the Residential Life Team.
Our rooms have single beds, storage, study desk with lamp, high-speed wired and Wi-Fi internet, use of a full kitchen, dining table and chairs, TV.

The Treehouse
This is the main social space for students staying at Elms BT9 and Willow Walk. We offer games tables, two bookable kitchens to entertain your friends and family, two 85-inch TVs in the TV lounge, a games and karaoke room, outdoor BBQ area and a complimentary coffee bar. The Treehouse is a great space to chill out, grab a coffee and make friends. Events are held every night of the week.

Free off-peak membership of Queen's Sport is included for everyone living in Queen’s Accommodation. The fully equipped gym facility at Elms BT1 is available to all students living in Queen’s Accommodation, open from 7am to 10pm, 7 days a week.

Onsite laundry is available in the laundry room. It's cashless - download an app on your phone, and you can see when machines are available or when your wash / dry is finished.

What our students think
Overall, I could not recommend Queen’s Student Accommodation more, especially to a first-year student travelling from afar wishing to make friends and wanting a community feel while settling into a new university life away from home. The red brick blocks of flats stand among a beautiful, picturesque village surrounded by trees and nature, and every morning I woke I could hear the birds singing. Elms BT9 also has security every evening and 24/7 maintenance which was important to me as I didn’t know what to expect before I moved out.
