FULLY-FUNDED PhD PROJECTS
We’re pleased to announce that we have a number of fully-funded PhD opportunities within the School that are currently open for application. During this information session, you will hear from each of the PhD supervisors and learn more about the funded projects.
What does fully funded mean?
It means that you won’t pay any fees, you’ll receive a generous tax-free stipend equivalent to that of a graduate entry-level job, and further funding opportunities for research-related travel.
Eligibility criteria apply: The available funding is open to UK and ROI nationals, and to EU nationals with settled status in the UK, subject to meeting specific nationality and residency criteria.

We currently have close to 100 PhD students from all over the world working across a broad range of research topics.
They conduct research in a friendly and supportive environment, supervised by academics who are leaders in their field, using well-equipped laboratories and research facilities. Most of our PhD projects are linked with large, collaborative research projects or are linked to leading industrial partners.
