Queen’s University Belfast and MEGA (Manufacturing and Engineering Growth and Advancement) invite you to join us during Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week for an exclusive event showcasing the Master’s Level 7 Higher Level Apprenticeship (HLA) in Mechanical Engineering with Management at Queen’s University Belfast.

This event is ideal for those who have studied Engineering at Level 6 and wish to continue on with their studies to achieve a Master’s whilst also getting real experience working on the job with an employer.

This event will also be of interest to employers who are keen to employ apprentices or upskill staff through the Mechanical Engineering with Management HLA at Queen’s University Belfast.

ABOUT THE LEVEL 7 MECHANICAL ENGINEERING WITH MANAGEMENT HLA

The Level 7 Mechanical Engineering with Management Higher Level Apprenticeship (HLA) is a two year, part time innovative work-study programme designed to help you progress your career while earning a Master’s degree. This programme combines practical industry experience with advanced academic study, allowing you to work with your employer for 3 or 4 days a week and attend Queen’s University Belfast for 1 or 2 days a week.

This Master’s-level qualification equips you with the advanced skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering and management, preparing you for leadership roles in the industry. You’ll gain expertise in areas such as energy and power, manufacture and design, ensuring you remain at the forefront of engineering innovation. You will also be equipped with the creative, commercial, business and management skills that are necessary to be an innovator, entrepreneur and industry leader.

PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS:

The core modules include: Sustainable Energy Systems, Manufacturing Technology, Computer-Aided Engineering, Business Management and Enterprise, Engineering Systems and Management, Research and Data Analytics.
