Research Culture Celebration
The postgraduate research carried out at QUB is some of the most diverse in the world, encompassing an array of specialities and topics, and delivering international impact.
Each June, we shine a spotlight on this work with our month-long 'Research Culture Celebration' here at the Graduate School.
This is a programme of events and workshops that align to the work and development needs of today's researchers. The Graduate School's Research Culture talks and workshops are delivered by researcher development experts, industry consultants, and senior academics from QUB and further afield.
An annual highlight of the programme is the Queen's final of the Vitae 3 Minute Thesis Competition. If your School runs a 3MT competition internally earlier in the academic year, don't forget to apply to our overall Queen's Final at the Graduate School! There are monetary prizes and plaques awarded to the winners and the overall winner goes on to compete in the prestigious Vitae 3MT UK Final.
Check back with us around April/May 2025 for updates on how the Graduate School will celebrate Research Culture at Queen's for June 2025.
