Research Culture Poster Competition

The Poster Competition is a popular feature of the Thomas J. Moran Graduate School’s Research Culture month and gives PGR students an opportunity to communicate key elements of their research to an interdisciplinary audience. Your poster will be judged by a panel of academic and professional services staff and, if your poster is shortlisted, you will be invited to present your poster to members of our postgraduate community as part of the Thomas J. Moran Graduate School Research Culture Celebration on Friday 28th June 2024.

Students should submit their poster files directly to pg.skills@qub.ac.uk. Students should submit a digital copy of their poster, size A0, in landscape format. The poster should be in English and sent as a PDF.

If your poster is shortlisted for presentation at the Research Culture Celebration, you should attend the Poster Competition session from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, 28th June 2024, to present your poster and answer questions from judges and attendees.

The deadline for submissions is 12 p.m. on Friday, 7th June 2024.

Finalists will be selected from each Faculty, where a final will take place in the Graduate School on Friday, 28th June 2024 to determine the overall winners. Prizes include £100 for each Faculty winner and £100 for ‘Best Creativity’.
