All Island Innovation Programme: 'Fame, Fortune and Beautiful Lovers – How to Use Creativity and Innovation in the Workplace'

On Monday 25 September, Mr Patrick Collister, the Creative Lead in Google and Author of ‘How to: Use Innovation and Creativity in the Workplace gave an innovative breakfast lecture titled 'Fame, Fortune and Beautiful Lovers – How to Use Creativity and Innovation in the Workplace'. This was followed by two masterclasses as part of the InterTradeIreland All-Island Innovation Programme with Queen's University.

Over 140 guests were welcomed by Professor Nola Hewitt-Dundas, Head of Queen’s Management School and Professor of Innovation Management and Policy.
 
A creative director with more than 25 years' experience, Patrick Collister has been a Creative Lead in Google’s creative think-tank The Zoo since 2013. He is the founder and editor of Directory magazine (directnewideas.com) and author of ‘How to use Innovation and Creativity in The Workplace’. His talk provided simple and practical techniques that are easily to introduced into the working day. The audience found out how to encourage the exchange of ideas with colleagues and make meaningful and positive changes. He also shared innovative approaches to using technology and digital platforms, breaking established work patterns and engineering working environments to harness creative potential.
