The African Scholars at Queen's University Belfast have organised a series of writing retreats days and booked venues for these events, that will take place from September 2024 to summer 2025.

Everybody in our research network is encouraged to join the ongoing mini retreats to write, read, analyse and plan their research, as there is a need for ongoing collaborative research projects as well as individual projects. Suggestions from our members for possible topics are welcome.

We have invited a special guest from the Research and Development Team to talk about the research funding opportunities. We also share various fellowships opportunities among our network.
