Tristan Sparks

Born and raised in Northern Ireland, I am a recent music graduate of Oxford University. I work with directors and producers to create music for motion picture. I have had worldwide experience interning at Yash Raj Films, the Conservatory of Rotterdam and Keeney & Stronge Ltd, and have had my work premiered at film festivals in Tokyo, where I currently reside.

In collaboration with the Centre for Creative Ethnography, I have worked on the Performing Waves project and co-led a seminar with singer-songwriter Daisy Johnston as part of the Hanging Out in Street Corners anthropology module in 2024. The latter project is connected to the CFCE’s Watch! Debunk! Act! Project, a collaboration with musicians and people with visual impairments in Zanzibar.
