Exploring Traces of Conflict Through Experimental Poetry

Maruška Svašek will speak about poetry as a means to explore conflict and its traces with master’s students in Refugee Integration Studies at Dublin City University. The seminar is part of the MA methods course, led by Fiona Murphy. The students will be asked to consider the challenges of research engagement with sensitive issues, and will be encouraged to find words, rhythms, and associations to give shape to the themes relevant to their own research.
