Hanging Out on Street Corners
Hanging out on Street Corners: Public, Applied, and Creative Anthropology
The course, designed by Dominic Bryan and Maruška Svašek, introduces second year undergraduate students to qualitative, ethnographic and creative methodologies. It explores their applied use in and beyond the social sciences and reaches out to wider audiences and policymakers. The course engages with ethnography as mode of problem solving, as a tool for policy, and as creative intervention through collaboration with non-academic organisations, individuals, and creatives.
