Indian Cultural Hour at the Centre for Public Health
Staff and students at the Centre for Public Health (CPH) recently embarked on a vibrant journey through the captivating world of Indian culture during their Indian Cultural Hour on Tuesday, December 5th. The event was a resounding success, attracting an audience eager to experience the rich tapestry of Indian traditions, music, and cuisine.
The event kicked off with an intriguing quiz that tested participants' knowledge of India's rich history, diverse traditions, and fascinating customs. The lively atmosphere was further enhanced by the enchanting melodies of Indian music, which resonated and transported attendees to the heart of India's cultural landscape.
To further indulge their senses, attendees were treated to a tantalizing array of authentic Indian delicacies, ranging from savory snacks to sweet treats. The diverse flavors and aromas of Indian cuisine captivated the taste buds of all who savored the culinary delights.
The event concluded with a captivating performance by a group of students from the Centre's Master in Public Health and Global Health programmes. Their graceful movements and rhythmic Bollywood beats ignited the atmosphere, leaving the audience enthralled and eager for more.
