In August 2024, Prof Bernadette McGuinness, Prof Ruth Hunter and Dr Calum Marr represented the NICOLA study at the 2024 Gateway to Global Aging Data Workshop in Banff, Canada.

The Gateway to Global Ageing Data is a platform for harmonised data from international longitudinal ageing studies, including the NICOLA study. The team presented recent findings from NICOLA and contributed to lots of discussions regarding cross-country data harmonisation efforts.
