Dr Claire Patter took part in the annual Soapbox Science event outside the Ulster Museum on 23.06.24. Soapbox Science is a novel public outreach platform for promoting women and non-binary scientists and the science they do in public spaces across the UK to promote public learning and scientific debate.

Claire's talk was titled, "Brain Health, a social challenge?" and she engaged with the public for an hour talking about the NICOLA study, brain health and modifiable risk factors for dementia.
