Qualitative Research
Dr Lynne Lohfeld is an anthropologist and global public health researcher. My focus is on improving health care and outcomes for vulnerable populations in low-resourced areas by providing data for evidence-based policy and educational decisions. Frequently, working work with interdisciplinary teams, I bring a deep understanding of qualitative research design and delivery in mixed-methods or stand-alone projects. I have considerable experience of researching NCDs (eg diabetes, cancer), care of older adults (eg polypharmacy, osteoporosis and falls prevention and people with UTIs or pneumonia), palliative care, blindness prevention and malaria. I have worked in Africa (Zambia, Tanzania, Angola), Asia (Vietnam, China), Canada and NI.
