Chenchen Zhang
Assistant Professor in International Relations
Profile: https://www.durham.ac.uk/staff/chenchen-zhang/
I joined HAPP as lecturer in politics and international relations in 2019. I was a postdoc researcher at the Université libre de Bruxelles and the University of Copenhagen before coming to Queen’s.
My research interests lie broadly within social and political theory, political geography, and international relations. Discourse, spatiality, identity, and governmentality are some of the key questions I have tried to explore in both European and Chinese contexts. My work has appeared in journals such as European Journal of International Relations, Citizenship Studies, Geopolitics, and European Journal of Social Theory.
