Anna joined the CDT in September 2018, having previously completed a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at Queen's University Belfast.

Measuring THz radiation          

Terahertz (THz) radiation covers the frequency range from 250 GHz to 10 THz in the electromagnetic wave spectrum. This project aims to provide hands-on experience on the techniques able to measure the electric field of electromagnetic radiation oscillating at THz frequencies, and the student will receive training on state-of-the-art ultrashort laser source and time-domain spectroscopy.
