Niall Boohan

Niall completed his undergraduate degree in experimental physics at Trinity College Dublin in 2013. In 2015 he completed his MSc in the Photonic Device Group at the Tyndall National Institute of Ireland, on integrated GaAs lasers. Following this he worked as an R&D engineer at Lumentum (Ex Oclaro) on InP telecoms devices. In 2019 he rejoined the Photonic Theory Group at Tyndall to complete his PhD in feedback insensitive laser modelling.
