It is a real pleasure for me to join the CDT PIADS and be one of the 2020 cohort. My background is microelectronics and I received my MSc degree from Delft University of Technology. Before joining the PIADS family, I have also worked as a research engineer for 2 years at a startup project which was incubated inside the Institute of Photonic Science in Barcelona. 

My PhD project will focus on the research development of high speed InP photonics compatible with micro transfer technology. I will work under the supervision of Prof. Frank Peters from IPIC at Cork. 

I hope my research work could bring better performance yet scalable technologies out from the labs into products serving the general public. In particular, I have interests to study and explore more research topics about novel fabrication techniques. 

I have participated in start-ups before and still holds a passion about technology entrepreneurship. Outside CDT I will continue learning and connecting with people who also share the same passion to turn research works into real business and products.
