European Researchers' Night 2018

CDT PIADS took part in "Explorathon" as part of European Researchers' Night (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions), an extravaganza of discovery, debate and entertainment across Scotland in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and St Andrews!

This year, CDT PIADS did something different in the form of a schools visit on Friday 26 November 2018. Volunteers provided four activities for the P7 class of 26 pupils at Thornwood Primary School, under the supervision of Mrs Nikki Murdoch.

CDT PIADS took part in "Explorathon" as part of European Researchers' Night (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions), an extravaganza of discovery, debate and entertainment that took place on Friday 29 September 2017, across Scotland in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and St Andrews!

Our activity at the Explorathon Extravaganza, held at the multi-award winning Riverside Museum was mentioned in the corresponding Buzzfeed Article!

CDT PIADS students and staff were able to engage directly with over 150 members of the public (all ages) during the 4 hour period of the event.
