SECA's April Research Seminar was delivered by QUB PhD researcher, Niamh Small.

This workshop is centred around the ethnographic research QUB Anthropology PhD student Niamh Small looking at the intersections between environmental activism and peacebuilding in Northern Ireland. This research has two emergent strands; the first being the particular challenges that the divided nature of Northern Irish society presents to activists and their campaigns. The second being the unifying potential that environmental activism can present to members of different communities by identifying common ground and highlighting shared environmental concerns.
