I am a Lecturer in International Political Economy at Queen’s University Belfast. I specialise in heterodox and Gramscian political economy to examine power and resistance in global governance and international development. My research examines corporate and financial power in global governance via multi-stakeholder partnerships (SDG17) and the legitimating role of sustainable development agendas. Additionally, I examine the rise of new state capitalist formations, the (re)emergence of China, India and South-South Cooperation, and their effects on recipient state form and function.
